1. What is the function of the dark filter?
We adoted safety UV filter. Below are about filter.
(1) Single Wavelength
Our filter blocks the wavelengths and only emits the light 253.7nm, which has strongest sterilizing effect.
(2) No Ozone generation
our filter blocks the Wavelength 200nm which generates Ozone human lung cell.
(3) Blocking visible light
Dust mites stay at bed surface until death because the filter blocks the visible light making dust mites moving in.
(4) Focusing on target
Our filter makes the light focus only on target, which strengthens sterilization effect and blocks light spread to human.
(5) Protection of lamp
You can find how much filter is important in UV wand. Purelight XD is unique one which has adopted filter.

2.Why do I need to push the switch twice continuously in order for the lamp to work?
Because UV light can harm skin or eyes if you don't use it properly. This safety device also protects children

3. How does UV light kill germs?
UV light causes DNA to break down, which kills germs. For more details see our homepage.

4. What does it mean when the switch light comes on, but the lamp's green light doesn't?
This is a safety feature. Always push the switch once to turn off, then push 2, 3, or 4 times continuously to set the desired mode.

5. How can I know whether germs are killed?
Dust mites and bacteria are too small to see with the naked eye. We need a microscope to see bacteria and most households do not have one. The FITI Testing and Research Institute has tested our product and found that it kills 99.9% of germs.

6 . What is the function of the dark filter?
It is called a UV band pass filter and does the following:

7 . When it is in Basic Mode it makes an annoying "pip" sound. How can I eliminate it?
Set the lamp to Continuous Mode to prevent the annoying sound, but do not use it this way when children are present.


8. How long do you charge PureLight?(Only XD-2D04 model)
To operate for an hour, you need to charge 3 hours..
We recommend using adapter, if you want to use PureLight for long periods of time to sterilize the air.

9. What is the lifespan of the battery I purchased? (Only XD-2D04 model)
The life span of a battery depends on a number of variables, but we could roughly estimate 500 charge/discharge cycles.
